Game Drives

The classic safari activity: exploring a park by 4x4 with a driver-guide, tracking wildlife across game-drive routes that shift with the season and animal movement. Most itineraries include two drives a day — an early morning start when predators are most active, and a late-afternoon drive into golden-hour light.

Game drives make up the backbone of nearly every Abakombe itinerary, and are included as standard across all of our tour packages rather than booked separately. The mix of parks, number of drives per day and overall pace are all things we tailor to what matters most to you — big cats, photography, or simply more time relaxing at camp.
