Overview
This five-day trip combines gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with some savanna safari time. It gives you a real feel for Uganda's variety in a shorter trip than our longer tours.
Your days are split between the forest of Bwindi and game drives in one of Uganda's easier-to-reach savanna parks, a striking contrast between close encounters in the forest and wide-open game viewing.
As with every gorilla trip, confirm permits early. Uganda's permits are easier to get than Rwanda's, but numbers are still limited.
