Lake Duluti is a small crater lake just outside Arusha, ringed by forest and with Mount Meru rising behind it. This easy day out lets you explore it either on foot along the lakeside forest trail or from the water by canoe.

It is a relaxed way to spend a day before or after a safari or a Kilimanjaro climb, with birdlife along the shore and wide views across the water. Prices start from $80 per person, with lower per-person rates for larger groups.

LAKE DULUTI WALK OR CANOE

You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha by your guide and driven the short distance to Lake Duluti.
Choose a guided walk on the forest trail around the lake or a canoe trip on the water, taking time for birdwatching and photographs with Mount Meru in the background.
Afterwards you are driven back to your hotel.
