Overview
The Hadzabe of Lake Eyasi are among the last hunter-gatherers in East Africa. They still speak their own click language and live mostly from what they hunt and gather in the bush around the lake.
This three-day trip gives you real time with a Hadzabe community, including an early outing to hunt or forage when possible, plus a visit to the neighbouring Datoga people. You hear first-hand how they keep their traditions alive while the world around them changes quickly. It is an honest cultural exchange, not a quick photo stop.
