Overview
Four days on Zanzibar gives you time to relax properly. You start with a night in Stone Town, spend a day snorkeling, then head out on the full-day Safari Blue boat trip to the sandbanks, with the rest of your time spent on the sand.
Where you stay makes a difference. The east coast around Paje and Jambiani has a big tidal range, while the north-west near Nungwi and Kendwa has water deep enough to swim in most of the day. We will suggest the beach that matches the kind of holiday you have in mind.

Day by Day (4 days)
ARRIVAL AND STONE TOWN
Our private vehicle collects you at Zanzibar Airport for the scenic drive of about 45 minutes to Stone Town. After checking in you can enjoy a seafood lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing in the sun, or explore the cobbled lanes of the old town to get a feel for island life.
Overnight at Emerson Spice Hotel with dinner and breakfast included.
SNORKELING DAY
A day on the reefs, where colourful corals shelter countless fish and creatures, from blue-spotted rays and firefish to clownfish. Some parts of the coast are still barely explored.
Overnight at Amani Bungalow, half board.
SAFARI BLUE BOAT TRIP
At 7:30 am you are collected and taken to Fumba village to board your boat. The day visits three sandbanks, with a seafood lunch on one of them, snorkeling and a good chance of seeing dolphins. You arrive back in Fumba around 5:30 pm and at your hotel around 6:30 pm.
Overnight at Amani Bungalow, half board.
DEPARTURE FROM ZANZIBAR
Depending on your flight time, you are transferred to Zanzibar Airport. If you are flying home from Dar es Salaam or Nairobi, we arrange the connecting flight.
