Overview
This itinerary flies you directly from Arusha to the Serengeti, covering the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti's wildlife and birdlife without the several-hour road transfer a driving safari would otherwise require.
Flying to your safari destinations means more time actually spent on game drives, and less time spent covering ground between them — a genuinely practical option if your schedule is tighter than a full overland circuit allows.
Both parks offer strong, reliable game viewing: the Ngorongoro Crater's dense, contained wildlife, and the Serengeti's vast plains, widely considered among the best safari destinations anywhere in the world.

Day by Day (8 days)
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your Arusha hotel for the night, with a full briefing on the days ahead.
A short flight from Arusha to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, avoiding the road transfer entirely. Afternoon game drive on the crater rim before an early night ahead of the crater floor descent.
A full day descending to and exploring the crater floor -- one of the most concentrated wildlife-viewing areas in Africa, with a genuine chance at all of the Big Five.
A short flight from Ngorongoro to the Serengeti, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive. Overnight in the central Serengeti.
A full day of game drives across the Serengeti's central Seronera area, covering resident wildlife and, depending on season, the migrating herds.
A further day exploring different areas of the Serengeti, with morning and afternoon game drives covering ground not reached the previous day.
A final full day of Serengeti game drives, with flexibility to revisit a particularly strong sighting area from earlier in the stay.
A morning flight back to Arusha, connecting to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward departure flight.
