Materuni Waterfall

Materuni is a Chagga village on the lower slopes of Kilimanjaro, known for its waterfall, around 90 meters high. You reach it on a short guided walk through farms and forest.

Most visits also include a stop at a family coffee farm, where the Chagga, Kilimanjaro's traditional people, show you every step from picking the beans to roasting, grinding and brewing them. It makes a relaxed half- or full-day trip from Moshi, ideal before or after a climb.
