Tanzania Safari from Ireland: Flights, Visa and Planning

Irish travelers typically connect via London, Amsterdam or Doha to reach Kilimanjaro — an extra connection compared to some other European departure points, but still a well-served route overall. Irish passport holders generally need an e-Visa or visa on arrival for a standard safari length stay. Given the total travel time once you account for the connection, we generally recommend a safari of at least 7 nights from Ireland — enough to make the journey clearly worthwhile without feeling like you spent a disproportionate share of your trip getting there and back. If you're planning from Ireland, building in that slightly longer trip length from the start tends to make for a more satisfying holiday than trying to keep the whole trip as short as possible.
