Overview
This nine-day trip combines gorilla trekking with proper savanna safari time in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and Queen Elizabeth National Park. It is a good introduction to what makes Uganda different from Tanzania or Kenya.
In Queen Elizabeth you take a boat along the Kazinga Channel, where hippos and elephants crowd the shoreline, as well as game drives across the open plains. The gorilla trek in Bwindi is the highlight, a close encounter deep in the forest.
Because permits are limited, we suggest booking this trip well before your travel dates.
