Overview
This 4-day itinerary covers three of the Northern Circuit's most accessible parks — Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara — with an arrival day built in to settle into Arusha before the safari itself begins.
On arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, you'll be met and transferred to Arusha for an overnight stay and a briefing on the days ahead, with optional short activities available if you arrive early. The safari days that follow are paced to properly cover all three parks without feeling rushed.

Day by Day (4 days)
On arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, our safari expert and driver will welcome you and give a brief overview of the days ahead. Transfer to Arusha for relaxation and an overnight stay, preparing for the safari. If you arrive early, optional short tours — waterfalls, villages, or the town itself — are available. Overnight at Planet Lodge or equivalent.
Depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, particularly along the Tarangire River. A full day of game drives covering the park's varied habitat. Overnight near the park.
Drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a stop at Lake Manyara National Park along the way for its birdlife and tree-climbing lions. Overnight on the crater rim, with views down into the caldera below.
Descend to the crater floor for a morning of game viewing in one of Africa's most concentrated wildlife areas, with a genuine chance at all of the Big Five. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha for your onward departure.
