Overview
This five-day photography safari focuses on three very different landscapes. You shoot elephant herds and baobabs in Tarangire, tree-climbing lions and flamingos at Lake Manyara, and spend a full day in the Ngorongoro Crater looking for black rhino, big-maned lions, hippos and elephant bulls.
Game drives are timed for the best light, and your photographic guide briefs you on camera settings for African conditions from the first evening. Contact us for dates.

Day by Day (5 days)
ARRIVAL AND PHOTOGRAPHY BRIEFING
Your photographic guide meets you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and takes you to a boutique lodge in Arusha. In the evening you review the plan, camera settings for African light and the wildlife ahead.
Overnight at Arusha Coffee Lodge with dinner and breakfast included.
TARANGIRE'S ELEPHANTS AND BAOBABS
After breakfast it is about three hours by road to Tarangire, arriving for lunch. A long afternoon game drive takes you among baobab trees and elephant herds, finishing with sunset positions above the Tarangire River.
Overnight at Tarangire Safari Lodge, full board.
TARANGIRE MORNING AND LAKE MANYARA
A morning game drive in Tarangire, then on to the Lake Manyara area for an afternoon in the national park, known for tree-climbing lions, flocks of flamingos and abundant birds.
Overnight at Manyara Kirurumu Lodge, full board.
FULL DAY IN THE NGORONGORO CRATER
An early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of photography, looking for black rhino, big-maned lions, hippo pods and old elephant bulls. Lunch is a picnic on the crater floor.
Overnight at Ngorongoro Tortilis Tented Camp, full board.
FINAL SHOOT AND DEPARTURE
A final morning game drive, then the drive back to Arusha and transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your international flight. Breakfast and lunch included.
