Overview
This thirteen-day trip follows the Great Migration on both sides of the border, in Kenya's Maasai Mara and Tanzania's Serengeti, so you are not relying on the herds being in one country.
The Mara and the Serengeti are really one ecosystem divided by a border, so visiting both gives you a fuller picture of the migration. Game viewing is good all year in both parks, but the herds' position during your dates decides which side offers the best sightings.
Crossing between the two countries means separate visas and a border post. We build that into the schedule from the start.
