Overview
This nineteen-day trip is the most complete East Africa journey we offer. It brings together safari in Kenya and Tanzania with gorilla trekking in Rwanda, so you see the region's biggest wildlife highlights in one well-planned trip.
You usually start in Kenya's Maasai Mara, then cross into Tanzania for the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater and the other northern parks. A flight to Rwanda follows, with several days in Volcanoes National Park, one of the very few places in the world to meet mountain gorillas in the wild.
Border crossings, permits and flights across three countries take careful coordination, and Rwanda's gorilla permits are limited, so this trip is best planned several months ahead. After more than 13 years arranging East Africa trips, our team handles those details for you.
