Overview

This three-day trip is a focused introduction to Kenya's Maasai Mara. It gives you several good game drives and a real feel for how rich the reserve is, without a long Kenya and Tanzania combination.

The Mara delivers excellent predator sightings all year. Lions, cheetahs and leopards live here permanently and don't depend on the migrating herds. If your dates happen to fall while the migration is in the Mara, usually July to October, that is an extra reward.

It works as a short safari on its own, as a side trip from Nairobi or as part of a longer tour of the region.
