Overview
This 6-day itinerary gives more breathing room to the same strong Kenya combination as our shorter version — the Maasai Mara's predator-rich plains, paired with Lake Nakuru's rhino sightings and flamingo flocks — with extra time for repeat game drives rather than a single pass through each park.
The additional nights compared to our 4-day version allow for a more relaxed pace, with time to properly explore different sections of the Mara across multiple game drives rather than covering the reserve in a single rushed visit.
This length suits travelers who want a proper, unhurried Kenya safari without extending into a full cross-border Kenya-Tanzania combination.

Day by Day (6 days)
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or airport early in the morning depart Nairobi and drive through the Great Rift Valley viewing scenery escarpment en-route, you will pass to Narok town which is a famous Masai town proceeding to Masai Mara. You will arrive in time for lunch Check in at Mara Sopa Lodge and have lunch. Afternoon game drives through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo, and other members of the Big five plus other animals. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.
After breakfast Full day spends in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippos and the dangerous Crocodiles with a visit to Mara river where you will witness the Wildebeest crossing the Mara River, the Wildebeest migration is one of the seven wonders in the world. Later Meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.
After breakfast leaves Masai Mara and proceeds to Lake Nakuru, you will arrive with a game drive en-route proceeding to Lake Nakuru lodge to check-in and have lunch. After Lunch, Afternoon game drive across the Pink Lake often referred so due to its Great masses of Flamingos not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel in the morning drive to Amboseli national park which is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains. Arrive with more game drive proceeding to your lodge Amboseli Sopa Lodge for check-in and have lunch, After Lunch afternoon game drive in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Hippos with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro. Later Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge
After breakfast Full day spends in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Elephants, Lions, Cheetahs, Antelepoes, Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Baboons, different types of Antelopes, different species of birds with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro. Later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge
After breakfast check out of your Lodge with a short game drive en-route off Amboseli Park and drive to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon where you will be dropped off at your respective hotel or Airport.
