Most Kilimanjaro climbers and safari-goers fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), which sits roughly midway between Arusha and Moshi — the two towns most climbs and safaris are organized from. Abakombe includes airport pickup and drop-off in all our Kilimanjaro and safari packages, so you'll be met at arrivals and driven directly to your pre-climb hotel — see our accommodation guide for what to expect once you're there.

If you're arriving via Nairobi or another regional hub instead — common if you're also visiting Kenya — let us know your full flight details and we can advise on the best onward connection or arrange a road transfer.
