Masai Mara National Reserve — Kenya's most famous park, and the top choice if the Great Migration is your priority. Even outside migration season, the Mara has some of the most reliable predator sightings anywhere in East Africa.

Amboseli National Park — known for large elephant herds set against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, making it one of the most photographed parks on the continent.

Lake Nakuru National Park — a compact, easy-to-cover park known for rhino sightings and, seasonally, large flocks of flamingos along the lake shore.

Samburu National Reserve — a drier, less-visited northern reserve with species found nowhere else in Kenya, including the Grevy's zebra and reticulated giraffe.
