Kilimanjaro pricing varies mainly by route, duration and operator — and as a local, Arusha-based operator, Abakombe's prices reflect real ground costs without a foreign agency's markup layered on top. As a general guide, our current Kilimanjaro packages run from around $1,450 for a shorter Marangu route climb up to around $2,300 for a longer, higher-success-rate Lemosho route — see our guide to route length for how duration affects both price and your summit chances.
What's typically included: park fees, camping or hut fees, a licensed guide, porters and a cook, meals on the mountain, and transport to and from the gate. What's usually separate: your international flights, Tanzania visa, personal climbing gear (see our packing list), tips for the crew, and travel insurance.
