Overview
Ten days in Uganda gives real room to properly cover the country's main highlights without feeling rushed — gorilla trekking in Bwindi, chimpanzee tracking in Kibale, and savanna game drives in Queen Elizabeth National Park, all within a single well-paced itinerary.
The extra days compared to a shorter Uganda trip allow for a rest day between the more physically demanding trekking days, and enough time to properly enjoy Queen Elizabeth's boat safaris and game drives rather than treating them as a single rushed stop.
As with any Uganda itinerary built around gorilla trekking, permit availability should be confirmed as early as possible in your planning.
See our guide to when to visit Uganda, or contact us to check permit availability for your dates.
