Tanzania Safari from China: Flights, Visa and Planning

Flights from China to Tanzania typically route through Doha, Addis Ababa or Nairobi to reach Kilimanjaro International Airport — a long journey, though well-served by major connecting hubs. Chinese passport holders generally need an e-Visa, best arranged several weeks before departure to allow enough processing time. Given the long flight distance involved, we typically recommend planning for 10 nights or more — a trip length that makes proper use of the journey rather than spending a disproportionate share of your time in transit relative to time actually on safari. A longer stay also means there's room to properly combine a Northern Circuit safari with other parts of Tanzania, rather than trying to compress everything into a short window that doesn't do the distance justice.
