Overview
This 3-day itinerary is a focused introduction to Kenya's Maasai Mara — enough time for solid game drives and a genuine sense of the reserve's wildlife density, without the longer time commitment of a full Kenya-Tanzania combined trip.
The Maasai Mara consistently delivers strong predator sightings even outside migration season, with high densities of lion, cheetah and leopard that don't depend on the migrating herds being present. If your travel dates happen to align with the migration's presence in the Mara (typically July through October), that's a genuine bonus on top of the reserve's already-reliable game viewing.
This length works well as a standalone short safari, or as an add-on to a Nairobi stopover or a longer regional trip.

Day by Day (3 days)
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive down the escarpment via the floor of the Great Rift Valley, to arrive at Maasai Mara Game Reserve in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives through the park in search of the Lions, Cheetahs, Elephants, Buffalo, and other members of the Big five plus other animals. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge 3 Days Masai Mara Safari.
After breakfast, a full day spend in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippos and the dangerous Crocodiles with a visit to Mara river where you will witness the Wildebeest crossing the Mara River, the Wildebeest migration is one of the seven wonders in the world. Later Meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.
Depart from the camp in the morning and drive north while viewing the game and make a stopover at Narok town with a chance to buy a souvenir or a cup of tea to arrive back in by late afternoon.
