Overview
This 5-day Uganda itinerary combines gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with a taste of savanna safari, giving a genuine sense of Uganda's range within a shorter, more manageable trip length than our longer itineraries.
Days typically split between trekking in Bwindi's forest and game drives in one of Uganda's more accessible savanna parks, offering a real contrast between the dense, close-up forest experience of gorilla trekking and classic open-plains wildlife viewing.
As with any gorilla-trekking itinerary, permit availability should be confirmed as early as possible, since Uganda's permits — while generally more available than Rwanda's — are still limited in number.
See our Uganda safari overview, or contact us to check current permit availability.
