Overview
This 10-day itinerary covers six of Tanzania's most rewarding destinations: Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Lake Natron, the central Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Eyasi — a genuinely comprehensive route combining classic wildlife viewing with striking, less-visited landscapes.
Lake Natron adds a dramatically different stop to the standard Northern Circuit, known for its striking red-tinted water, while Lake Eyasi offers a chance to meet the Hadzabe, one of the last hunter-gatherer communities in East Africa — a genuine cultural dimension alongside the wildlife-focused days.
The tour starts and ends in Arusha, with experienced driver-guides throughout.

Day by Day (10 days)
Depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.
A full day of game drives across Tarangire, particularly strong for elephant sightings along the Tarangire River.
Travel to Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon of game viewing, known for tree-climbing lions and strong birdlife.
Drive north to Lake Natron, known for its striking red-tinted water and dramatic setting beneath the volcano Ol Doinyo Lengai.
Depart Natron and travel to the Serengeti, with game viewing beginning as soon as you cross into the park's boundaries.
A full day of game drives across the Serengeti's central Seronera area, home to resident lion prides.
A further day exploring different areas of the central Serengeti.
Drive from the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a full day of crater floor game viewing on arrival.
Travel to Lake Eyasi, home to the Hadzabe, one of the last hunter-gatherer communities in East Africa, for a genuine cultural exchange.
A final morning before the drive back to Arusha for your onward departure.
