Overview
This 11-day itinerary is built specifically for couples who want both halves of a classic Tanzania honeymoon — a proper Northern Circuit safari, followed by real time to unwind on Zanzibar's beaches — without either portion feeling rushed to accommodate the other.
The safari days cover the Northern Circuit's highlights, with private game drives paced for two rather than a full group, before you fly on to Zanzibar for the second half of the trip. There, the pace shifts entirely: white sand, warm water, and genuinely nothing on the schedule beyond what you choose to do each day.
It's a combination that works precisely because the two halves are so different — the excitement and early starts of a safari, followed by the total decompression of a beach stay, rather than trying to make one trip do both jobs at once. Guests consistently tell us it's one of the best ways to spend a honeymoon, and it's easy to see why once you've experienced how naturally the bush gives way to the beach.

Day by Day (7 days)
Your Honeymoon Safari in Tanzania starts with arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be picked by our representative who will take you to your lodge/hotel in or around Arusha. Overnight will be at Mount Meru Game Lodge. Lunch Box and dinner included
Early breakfast at the lodge in Arusha then you will be picked by your safari driver and depart on your journey to Ngorongoro Crater. It is around a 3 hours drive first on a nice tarmac road up to the Loduare Main Gate where we will register then drive up to the Crater Rim Viewpoint where you will have a brief stop for views and some photos. We will descend to the Crater floor and spend the rest of the day doing game drives in the ‘Eden of Africa” . Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. All meals are included.
After breakfast at the lodge, you leave the Conservation Area and enter Serengeti national park via the Naabi Hill Gate with a brief stop at the Olduvai Gorge if you wish ( extra cost). Lunch will be served at a picnic site or at the Gate then the afternoon will be spent doing game drives around the Vast Plains of the Serengeti. Overnight at Kati Kati Tented Camp, or Serengeti Sopa Lodge. All meals included.
Go for a sunrise safari in the Serengeti plains if you wish. After breakfast at the lodge / tented camp, you will spend the day doing game drives in the largest national park in Tanzania for the rest of the day. Depending on the season we can witness the Great Migration Herds as well as lots of resident animals and bird species. Serengeti is home for the Big 5 and with a little luck, you will be able to spot them here. Later in the afternoon, we will check-in at the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight. After breakfast, we transfer to the Seronera Airstrip with last game drives on the way. You will take your flight to Zanzibar; direct or with a stopover at Arusha or Dar es Salaam depending on the availability. On arrival, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to the beach resort. Overnight at Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort. All-inclusive included.
Spend all days at Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort on an all-inclusive basis. Optional Activities that can be arranged from the hotel on any day include, visiting Stone Town, Spice Plantations, Diving and snorkeling tours, prison Island tours, Dolphin tours, and afternoon dhow tours.
Breakfast at the resort then the rest of the day spent at the beach hotel until time to transfer to the Airport for your departure back home. Check out is at 11.00 am but the day room can be arranged for an extra cost. End of 11 Tanzania And Zanzibar Honeymoon Safari Package.
This Honeymoon Safari Starts at Kilimanjaro airport and ends at Zanzibar Airport and any Connection flight can be arranged by our Tour Consultants. This package can be done while staying at mid-range accommodation if you wish to keep prices low or more luxurious places if you wish to upgrade the accommodations. Prices are on request and will depend on the accommodations used and the season of travel.
