Overview
Our "Best of Tanzania" tented lodge safari covers Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks, along with the Serengeti and the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, traveling through some of Tanzania's most striking landscapes over a full week.
Accommodation is tented throughout, giving a genuinely immersive feel while still offering proper comfort — including a stay at Kati Kati Tented Camp within the Serengeti itself, right in the heart of the park rather than commuting in each day.

Day by Day (7 days)
Collected from your hotel in the morning, arrive at Tarangire National Park after an approximate 2-hour drive. Tarangire is considered one of the best places to view elephants up close, with thousands of animals undisturbed by vehicle presence, alongside buffalo, zebra and wildebeest. Overnight at Lake Burunge Tented Camp.
Travel from Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park, known for over 400 bird species and grassy plains covered in part by the alkaline Lake Manyara itself, a seasonal breeding ground for large flamingo colonies. Overnight at Kirurumu Manyara Lodge.
Travel via the cooler highlands toward the southern Serengeti, reaching the plains by midday. Look out for the bizarre kopje rock formations where predators often shelter. Overnight at Kati Kati Tented Camp inside the park.
A full day of game drives across the central Serengeti, covering resident wildlife and, depending on season, the migrating herds. Overnight again at Kati Kati Tented Camp.
Drive from the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with game viewing en route as the terrain rises into highland forest. Overnight on the crater rim.
A full day descending to and exploring the crater floor, one of the most concentrated wildlife-viewing areas in Africa. Return to the rim by evening.
Drive back to Arusha, with transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
