Overview
This 7-day itinerary is timed specifically around migration season, built for travelers prioritizing wildlife photography and a genuine chance at witnessing the herds in motion across Tanzania's Northern Circuit.
This itinerary works especially well for travel in late May, June, and the middle of July, when the migration is typically moving through the western corridor toward the Grumeti River crossings — a quieter, less crowded alternative to the more famous Mara crossings later in the season.
See our Grumeti River crossings guide, or contact us to book this itinerary around current migration timing.
