Overview
This itinerary is timed around one of the most concentrated wildlife photography events in Africa: calving season on the Ndutu plains, when up to 8,000 wildebeest calves can be born in a single day, drawing in predators in numbers that rival anything else on the migration's annual route.
Photography-focused game drives prioritize positioning over covering distance, since the action here happens in a relatively contained area rather than requiring long transfers between sightings. Guides are experienced specifically with Ndutu's seasonal patterns and know where predator activity tends to concentrate as calving intensifies.

Day by Day (8 days)
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to Arusha for the night.
A day of game viewing at Lake Manyara, known for tree-climbing lions and strong birdlife.
A full day exploring the Ngorongoro Crater floor, one of the most concentrated wildlife-viewing areas in Africa.
Travel to the southern Serengeti's Ndutu area, prime territory for photographing calving-season wildlife and the predators that follow.
A further day photographing Ndutu's wildlife, revisiting the strongest sightings from the previous day at different times of light.
Travel north into the central Serengeti, with photography opportunities along the way as the terrain shifts from plains to woodland.
A further day photographing the Serengeti's central Seronera area, home to resident lion prides and reliable leopard sightings.
A scenic bush flight back to Arusha, connecting to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward departure flight.
